Lightroom Classic is the only Lightroom product that does DSLR tethering, but it runs only on Mac and Windows. Here, the processing power of the iPad Pro really shines, as it loads RAW images (50 MB per file) without any issues or hesitation. Lightroom also aces non-destructive post-processing of photos. However, Lightroom is great at editing photos, and can edit raw photos. Insert your SD card into the connector, plug it into the lightning port of the iPad, and the Apple Photos import window opens automatically. Lightroom lets you import, organize, edit, and easily share your photos. Lightroom is available for iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and in a web browser, but Lightroom (non-Classic) does not do tethering at this time. ![]()
